Nothing is guaranteed in the NBA, but this SHOULD be a big week for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Most people expect new coach Kenny Atkinson to be introduced on Monday. Others are optimistic that Donovan Mitchell will also announce a contract extensions to stay in Cleveland very soon.
The moves aren’t as splashy as some of the others that will alter the NBA landscape this week (Paul George to Philly, for one), but it should largely keep hope intact for a successful 2024-25 season.
